Given they don't have the Liverpool Norwich route it's interesting they've restarted applications, I'm was told just last week the depot wasn't recruiting for a while as they had a few qualified drivers change over recently.

Equally they expect people to join them with a 3 week notice period AT BEST. Shows what a complete farse recruitment is for TOCs.

I did that. I live in Bristol but applied for Plymouth and ended up in the talent pool. No harm in trying

You must have missed the part that says “*You must live within a 60 minute commutable distance from the location you are applying for. Evidence of proof residence will be requested at interview stage.”

They are obviously fed up of people applying with addresses that they cannot provide proof of.

TOCs would be wise to black list accounts that do that.

I was told by HR they would accept relocation with TPE however this was for a different depot and advert.

Well applications in, as well as Northern and LNER. Hopefully one of them will let me sit the Pyschometric testing this time without cancelling applications.

The dates from TPE are very sudden so Id need to negotiate an early end to my notice period but that would be a very nice problem to have!

Yes, I think I passed both since I haven't had an email saying that I failed. I am assuming they wouldn't send the email to start the second test if you failed the first.

For the first 9 to 12 months you will undertake an intensive training programme based in the class room and on the train

So guessing 24k is before fully qualified/passing out

Passed these in 2020 and noted my answers for that. Reused them here.

The error checking was literally identical to my recent LNER one to the point I'd already seen some of the questions previously. I got about 35 "manifests" in based on my recording of the test.

Thanks and this why i asked to clarify, i mean if its true then its a bonus to be honest because i dont think there’s any toc out there that’s willing to pay their trainee’s full wages.

At TPE you go onto the full rate 8 weeks after starting training.
