Hi all,

I have applied for a position at TPE as a qualified driver. As part of the online application it asks you to do an online assessment where you’re asked various questions.

I had an email saying that I was successful in the online assessment, but due to the huge number in applicants my application may not be assessed further. In these situations they only process those with really high scores. (Or words to those effects). It seemed like quite a generic email.

I found this assessment really difficult as I have never been in any of the situations, so I tried to use common sense the best I can. With this in mind, I have no idea how well I’ve done other than a pass.

My question is, has anyone ever been in this situation where you have passed the online assessment but never made it to the next stage?

Also, if any TPE drivers are on here and would like to give any insight into the company, what they’re like to work for, or the recruitment process, I would love to hear from you.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Firstly good luck!

Did you have to upload a CV or anything else or was it just basic personal details, and the questions you mention above? Which depot did you apply for?

Thanks

Sheffield for the talent pool.

The application was quite in depth, I had to write all of the previous roles I’d had, what dates I was employed, who I was employed by, the reason for leaving then I had to write a description of each role (5000 characters) explaining what the role was about and how it would help me in the role at TPE

Thanks.

Did they want all previous jobs you’ve had since starting your working life?

Hoping to apply in the next few days.
