TPE Qualified Driver positions

Good evening all, I am wondering if there are any TPE Qualifieds or other that maybe able to enlighten me on the recruitment for TPE.
I have been a qualified driver for 15 months and I was wondering would TPE take you on or any other TOC/FOC for a matter of fact for the little experience I have.
Also in TPEs job adverts they state - You’ll need to complete an online application form and upload a completed Safety of the Line Transfer of Information.
Is this a qualified drivers process or company specific

XC now ask for 18 months, not sure about TPE but I think it used to be two years. Might have changed as XC used to be 3 years. The transfer of safety info form is company specific, you'll need one for TPE although i don't know how you'd get it, can you download one from a link on the job advert? Either that or they will email you one when you are shortlisted. Fill it in yourself but don't have it countersigned yet, they will fax it to your manager if you pass the interview (that way you don't have to tell your gaffers you want out.)

All companies ask for the safety form (used to be called ATOC1 form) and the info needed is similar (ie date qualified, SOL incidents etc).

Very few look at time served now mainly that you've passed any probationary period.

There is nothing wrong with applying and I've known TPE to take on a PQA driver.At TPE they still class drivers as PQA upto year Five but most are taken out after year Three.This doesn't affect the pay but you get more downloads and ride outs.
TPE also require even qualified drivers to sit some of the psychometric test used on trainee drivers before a job offer is made.

It's only SCAAT and a written test. Nothing too taxing.

A few years back, there was an ATOC Good Practice guide for inter-TOC drivers, which stated that drivers shouldn't be PQA (back then almost everyone was PQA 1-3). However having said that the ATOC Good Practice guide has been withdrawn for a number of years now and it is up to each TOC who they employ.

For example a South/Central TOC only wants 1 year driving experience, a west TOC looks for 2 years post-qualified experience, an East Mids TOC doesn't have any minimum requirement.
