Friends returning home from Manchester Airport but NCL train to Manchester cancelled (train here was cancelled to- l with over 120 minute delay). Can they get an earlier TPE train or the next train buts its a LNER to York then TPE to Manchester? This is stress they could do without - worrying about ticket acceptance on trains coupled with longhaul flight.

What day is it they’re due to travel? TPE currently have acceptance with LNER until 04/09 on Sundays only between York and Edinburgh; but that doesn’t stop alternate travel being arranged on the day, whether it be ticket acceptance on a specific train, or maybe even coaches or taxis. I’ve recently had a taxi from Manchester to Leeds on TPE’s bank account, and seen passengers taxi’d even further than that.
