Just made a reservation for Manchester Piccadilly to Edinburgh on Friday 16th January (1S75) and obtained seat reservations for Coach A, seats 43, 44 and 48.

Great, but Realtime Trains has this pathed as a 185, but TPE's seating plan only has the aforementioned seats in a 350!

I know the majority of services on this route are now operated by 350's but that some 185's (doubles?) still operate on busy services on Fridays etc...

Any ideas what might be going on here, and what might turn up?

Thanks

It is TIMED as a 185 but not necessarily diagrammed. These are timings used and can be maintained by a 350. We have to keep pointing this out to people who appear to believe that is what the train is diagrammed for. Some People obviously don't read posts

The 350s have also had the seating renumbered such that the table seats are individually numbered. Coach A on the 185's is also the end that is all standard class, as of a dew days ago

Thanks, so the seating plan on TPE's website is out of date then? Or maybe updated for the 350, but not the 185?

So if I understand you post correctly, the coaches A and C have effectively swopped over, meaning the 'new' 185 plan does have seats 43, 44 and 48 in coach A, albeit not round one table?

Not great if that's the case, lets hope a 350 turns up.

However, according to the updated seating plan, the OP's seats will be across two separate tables! (43 on one; 47 and 48 on the other)
