What next, the City of Bath & North East Somerset?

Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole - it's only a matter of time before Bournemouth gets city status, and I doubt they'll just give it to one part of the authority (for political reasons as much as anything - the three towns seem to vote mostly on the basis of opposing the other two, which is how nearly all of Christchurch is represented by its very own political party).

They managed to get Christchurch into BCP, which seems an achievement. Just like Brighton and Hove, it is effectively one town nowadays regardless of historical boundaries.
