Tours Galore for Bournemouth, Poole & Weymouth

As it states above.

Between July and September this year between Bournemouth, Poole & Weymouth we have 11 tours (not including any charters for the labour party conference in September) this year that are worthy of photographs or video or just going to see. Thats a record for us down here in this neck of the woods. Weymouth and Bournemouth becoming a popular tour destination? we can only hope.

Departing from: Bournemouth (07.00) Brockenhurst (07.20) Southampton (07.40) Eastleigh (07.55) Basingstoke (08.30) Woking (09.05) Wimbledon (09.35) & Clapham Jct (09.45)This is a train with a real ‘wow’ factor that any steam enthusiast would not want to miss as we take a circular tour of over 200 miles hauled by newly rebuilt SR No 850 ‘Lord Nelson’ back on its old stamping ground. Features include the journey through the picturesque garden of England and along the White Cliffs of Dover – a stopover of around two hours to discover medieval Canterbury and the highlight of the day being the 1 in 30 climb up the soon to be closed branch from Folkestone Harbour. During the layover in Folkestone we have arranged an additional photographic run up the fearsome incline enabling passengers to view this historic event from the lineside.
