Is there a track fault with the Down main at Totnes? All trains booked to pass seem to be using the platform road instead? Can anyone shed any light?

Defective for several weeks, work planned weekend of 20th September for rectification.

Point into the loop failed an inspection in the normal position (DM). All traffic through the down loop until repaired.
Noticed that on my way home on Friday. The rail head was very rusty so the main must have been out of use a while. The Torquay bus was late so I sat in the signal box cafe for half an hour and had a bacon roll. I saw a non-stop IET roll through the down loop.
