TOT-PAD 01.03.2026 and avoiding RRBs

Hello

I hold a Super Off-peak single from Totnes (TOT) to London Terminals for the 1st March 2026. I was planning to use the direct route to Paddington but it seems rail Replacement Buses are in operation until Exeter, which I'd rather avoid. Is there a way, even a longer or more circuitous one, to avoid RRBs and go by rail the whole way, or is my only option to cross my fingers for the connection at Exeter?

There is no way to get from Totnes to Exeter without using the RRB. That is the only railway line between the two locations. It’s discussed pretty frequently every time a storm shuts the line at Dawlish.
