So what did everyone have on their pancakes? Lemon, sugar and "Treat" milk chocolate sauce for me!

. . . which is a shame, 'cos I like the annual tossing of the pancake. (I guess that makes me a tosser, then, eh? I can only think of that word being used for salads, the caber (traditional scottish pursuit), pancakes and w*******)

I did see the first daffodil of spring on my route to the sandwich shop yesterday. Does that count for anything?

Got home late tonight after a manic day, so it was M&S microwaved pancakes with zesty lemon sauce.

I know what you're thinking about ready made ones, and you're wrong - they were delicious! So delicious that after the wife said no more after two of them, I finished the pack (6) so that was FOUR pancakes for me.

You can't go wrong with M&S grub. Classic example of the adage 'you get what you pay for'

As our youngest is now away at University, this is the first time for years that I have been able to pig out on pancakes. Previously, I have been the one in the kitchen producing while others pigged out.

GOLDEN SYRUP!!! Half a tin of it. Not helped by the fact that I’ll quite happily consume it on its’ own, straight out of the tin…I’m a bit of a Golden Syrup fiend. There was a definite waddle to my gait as I mosied down to the pub after this extensive pancake session…

It had a use by date of something like March 1998.
