Obviously they've sorted 73970 out (or at least hopefully they have!)

92033 is the loco stabled at Waverley today poised to take 1M16 forward from there.

(There's a slight chance the loco (probably 92023) that's taken in the Lowlander Edinburgh portion ECS is switched for it, but I doubt it.)


Depending on if he's got a bit of time at Euston (and his train is on time) he should also be able to see some/all of the following:

- 86101 (90% sure) taking the Lowlander ECS away usually from P1 (d. 08:27 5M11) - should already be on the top of the Lowlander as he arrives, so may be able to catch it from the window...
- The Class 92 detached from the Lowlander (1M11) left on the blocks in P1 once the above leaves. I think it's 92010 tonight (if not 92023).
- That 92 then running round and attaching to the north end of the Highlander to take the ECS back to Wembley (d. 09:27 5M16) - with 92033 (assuming it's that) DIT on the rear.

70813 left Westbury Lafarge at 12:30 with 6C36 to Aberthaw Cement Works. I'm not familiar with the layout of Westbury... could 813 moving off in a Bristol direction just after 9am be it heading from Westbury Yard to Westbury Lafarge to collect tanks (or whatever)?

And does this help narrow it down for Devonman2014 depending where he saw his two unidentified 70s at 11:10?

Thank you; I've just sent that on to him. I fear they'll probably just run 023 round as normal on the Lowlander; he needs 023 for haulage but already has 033...

1C11 (EDB-Carstairs) left 20 mins ago, so what's on it is on it now - presumably someone can confirm - but agree most likely 92033 on 1M16.

(In recent times 023 has worked the Lowlander typically - has only done the Highlander a few times. Whether by design or chance, 014 and 033 appear to be the "favourites" for the Highlander with 010 doing a fair few too.)

Sounds likely. The cement works is on the Up line, about a mile from Westbury yard. It was at Aberthaw at 1900 last night.
