Nope, from December onwards 2J44 0640 Crewe to Shrewsbury will couple to 1G07 0514 Aberystwyth to Birmingham International to form a 6 car train into BHM in the rush hour. Hence, both are now down to use platform 4 at Shrewsbury. The return 1D12 0910 Birmingham International to Holyhead is then 6 cars as far as Shrewsbury, where it drops the back 4 to form 1G31 1034 Shrewsbury to Birmingham International.

The confusion arises from the fact that 5K46 0730 Shrewsbury to Shrewsbury is still in the system, as this move is impossible due to the Aberystwyth train. Unless 2J44 is a 158+153 and the 153 shunts around the 158s to get to the sidings I have no idea how this will happen.

If it was an attachment it would be shown on Journey Planner as a through train. Hi, could anyone shed any light on what 66171 was doing at about 12:10 today. I drove past Leamington station and I am pretty sure it was sat in the bay.

It was booked with 66098 to move from Hinksey Yard to Tyseley as 8Z06

The move was to convey one of the loco's on a wheelskate (not sure which - most likely 66171), but was cancelled as shown.

I did not realise re the 05 14 Aberystwyth proposed for 6 ex Salop. The 153 Shunt at Shrewsbury is just not practicable, as you say. Crewe would be a problem as well as the situation stands. As I see it the 158 would already be in Platform 7 when the 05 34 ex Salop 153 arrives on top of it. The occupation on Plf 4 at Shrewsbury would be 2x158 (ex Aberystwyth) 153 and 158 to attach to the pair. I will wait with baited breath to see the final real Time Trains moves when Timetable published. I have noticed that a lot of local Stock moves/shunts not previously shewn on RTT are being shewn from December all over the system.

Also, 377129 and 377475 were at Clapham Junction platform 15 at about 5.30pm, but I can't tell what service they were on, so if anyone can check, that'd be great! The platform was extremely congested, due to serious delays as a result of a broken down train at Wandsworth Town. The platform was heaving, even all up the stairs!

The same also goes for 377610 with another 377, just outside Wandsworth Town.
