Yes. TGS is "Tourist Guard Standard". 44056 is clearly a TGS, but on that list it said if was B. I'll provide the original post below.

Does anyone know which end has the first class on Virgin Trains Pendolinos?

no they class the guards compartment within the first coach as coach A. The first (TGS) carriage apart from the compartment is coach B in their formations.
Coach A may be the old parcel compartment on an HST. It is to do with their booking system for bikes.

The 321 turned up on an ECS movement at Stratford. The 90 did not appear from 10:35 to 12:00.
On an unrelated note, can anybody tell me which 395 was leading on 5J16 0846 St Pancras International to Ashford Down Sidings today? I know 395010 was on the back (and thus the front portion of the 1J21 from Ashford).

yes - i think so. On an electric set the DVT is classed as a coach for the cycle reservation system. Cant remember the letter - M perhaps

Also, what was the trailing power car on 1B59 1645 Paddington to Swansea? It was heavily delayed and was diverted via Bath due to flooding in the Chipping Sodbury tunnel. 43037 was leading and entered Bristol Parkway on platform 3 (as if heading towards London!), then it reversed. Thanks!
