Many thanks Erniescooper. This pic was the one I was most bothered about knowing, got really lucky with the sunrise popping up as it came by!

I've just looked this up in trust and no units are showing allocated for this.

That's odd, definitely 3x 325's came by. Did you look for yesterday (03/01)?

Whichever unit it was will have been doing the same as 004 and 008.

03/01 - 37059 was the loco at Gresty Bridge.

03/01 - 325007 was the middle unit in 1F00.

First class is almost always at the London end of EC sets.

I have a few requests, can anyone help?

First is the new 350/4's - I saw my first ones but never once got a number! - I'm worried this sub class is going to jinxed for me.

On the 31st December I saw two at Preston. The first looked to be leaving South from either platform 5 or 6 at 1350.

The second was stabled at the north end of the station by the town hall. No amount of jumping could get me the number!

The following day, New Year's Day I saw a 350 heading South past Hest Bank signalbox at 1440

lastly for the 350's, again at Hest Bank on 3rd Jan, heading North at 1540.

At Carnforth, looking from the extreme southern end of platform one you can see a 37 and a 47. The 37 is in maroon coloured livery.

Again at Carnforth, As I left aboard the 1108 service to Leeds and the 2nd Jan and we went around the curve and over the WCML I saw something held at a red signal which just cleared to a single yellow.
Whatever it was started clagging. It looked like a loco pulling one large yellow wagon. I reckon it was heading South.

Whilst at Leeds on the 2nd Jan, I was unable to see which numbered CrossCountry Voyager was in charge of the 1630 dep to Reading

Lastly going by Polmadie on the M74 I saw a voyager stabled. The date was Saturday 4th of Jan and the time 1210

Thanks

Bodie

31/12 350403 1M96 from platform 6 at 1350.

02/01 220029 1V96.

03/01 350402 at Hest Bank on 3rd Jan, heading North at 1540.

Not sure about the rest, sorry.

Cheers Mark! It was the "Diesel locomotive, trailing load 715 tonnes" bit that had me wondering... :|
That's just the 'timing load' for planning the path.

There isn't a "tamper" timing load, so they use a standard freight one.

Similarly, you can get a freight with a timing load of "1800 tonnes"
which only runs with six wagons!

WCRC Maroon liveried 37, is 37214
What livery was the 47 in?

The sighting at 1108, may have been 6Z42 Mossend to Totton, 56312 hauling the Railvac. It was cancelled at Carnforth, but not until 1122 (60 early)

Can I have the units on the following service please, for today:

2B39 1928 Llanelli to Cardiff

Think it may have been a mixture of 142s, 150s and 158s maybe? Or another service running at a similar time?

Think it was also not the usual mixture of units due to stock displacement as a result of the west Wales weather closing the line near Carmarthen.

Diagrams would be completely out of place, could have been 143 also. Problem now units stranded at Carmarthen working Branches requiring fuel and Maintenance as no facilities there. Pacers and Sprinters at Canton and 175s at Chester.

I think 150266, based purely on my own observations. A check on TOPS would be good to confirm this.

I glanced as I alighted and saw 150101 for the WSM-BPW service. From RTT I assume the same united formed the return service. The return train was held at Bristol TM whilst some fitters looked at something underneath the train. They then pumped something into the train and told the driver that something was leaking. They said he would probably get away with making it to Weston but that obviously it was still leaking whatever it was. The driver was asking someone on the platform to contact someone and ask for a different unit so it could have been swapped at some point if you've seen different.

Hi,

Could anybody tell me which services 90005 and 321448 will be working today (Wednesday)? It'd be nice to know if its worth visiting Stratford in the late morning or to hold on until the afternoon!

Thanks.
