The link for 19/10 - 3S02, looks like it could have been a tamper or track machine of some sort, the numbers in the machine are 98909 and 98959.

It'll be one of those MPVs on water jetting trains then, they get used quite a bit at this time of year all over the country. Altrincham gets one for anyone interested, came through around 0943 towards Chester on Tuesday, saw it waiting to head back into Stockport as I headed home at Edgeley Junction at 1142.

Not that I expect anyone will be remotely interested
