Apologies. Must have mixed up 153325 and 153333. I knew it was definitely one of the ex-LM green ones. I could have sworn it was 333, but this clearly wasn't the case.

Whilst I am here, can I make three requests:

0840 Carmarthen to Manchester for yesterday (1st September)
2015 Cardiff to Milford Haven for yesterday too.
These two services should have been a pair of 175s.

And for this morning, the 150 on the back of 1B53 0642 Cardiff to Pembroke/Fishguard. 142082 was leading.

The other 37 on 6M22 on 21st August was 37259.


319006 and 319433 on 2E07 on 27th August.


Not sure of the colour of the 153 fleet, but the only 153s working TAU - CDF trains on 30th August were 153368 and 153369, both on 1104 TAU - CDF, 1400 CDF - TAU and 1607 TAU - CDF, and 153328 (with 150927) on 1900 CDF - TAU.
5W08 HFD - PM on 30/08 was 43125 + OC37 + 43139. See below for the other HST workings on 30/08.

142020 was the other unit on 2N18 yesterday.


0E61 yesterday was 66122/194/132/089/043 between Carlisle and Tyne Yard. Just 66122/194 between Tyne Yard and Tees Yard.


185125 was on 1N68 yesterday.

Normally, there's the usual 'health warning' with power car swaps after the day etc, but looking at the allox posted by 'Valenta 43021' on www.hstgen.co.uk the sets had those power cars on both 29th and 31st August (with the two exceptions above), so the above is a reasonable assumption....

Many apologies, noticed a typo on my part. The 153 with 150927 was 153329 - not 153328 (which is a Northern example IIRC).

I'm interested in how a fleet would move around the country, whether there is any pattern to it. To work this out it would take a lot of requests here, so was wondering whether there was anywhere else so I could spread requests. Don't grt me wrong, the guys here are great!

I'll start though, could someone get me the full working diagram for 07/09/2013 for 220 005? :)

Depends on the traction you want the gen for. There are gen groups which show diagrams (or at least actual workings, so you could work the diagrams out) for various traction, like www.hstgen.co.uk in the case of the latter for HSTs.

The problem with looking on the web for large amounts of gen is that it requires someone to have the time to post in the first place, as not many people have (or would be comfortable sharing) access to the gen at source.... and it can take a lot of time to post!

Purely personally, it's easier if people post requests for gen for sightings after the event, as this means I can check if/when I have time. Obviously I realise that isn't as useful for people who are wanting to bash/see/phot specific things on the day though - in those cases it just means that people have to hope there's someone around with access when needed!

Not sure if I'll have access to the system (or the web!) on Saturday at the moment to check that 220 - my suggestion would be to 'bump' the thread with the request again on the day, so people can check if at that time if they happen to have access to the info.

Thanks. Didn't get any of them though as I saw the gen just a tad too late after I'd left Donny on EC. Missed 1V85 by 30 minutes. If I'd checked a few minutes earlier I'd have waited for it.

Missed 1E48 by 3 minutes at LMS as I read the timings wrong.

Didn't go chasing after 67002 due to delays between Swindon and Bristol Parkway this afternoon so thought better of it having only got a +5 at Newport.

Not a good day bashing on the whole. :(

Need the loco at the other end of 43150 if you don't mind.
