Top and tail class 20s on freight Birmingham New St

Just seen (1435) a pair of class 20s hauling a few freight wagons with class 20 on rear at Proof House headed towards New St. Is this bound for Crewe from Kings Norton?

1342 6Z18 Kings Norton OTPD to Crewe Down Refuge Siding for onward move 2229 6Z19 to Kirkdale CS, should be a pair of 20s at either end of the barrier vehicles

Ah thanks for that, I just heard the familiar class 20 noise and managed to catch a glimpse.

SLC are using King Norton as a base for the operations at the moment. and are leasing / hiring 20007 20142 20189 20205 and 50008 and barrier wagons for their work. They have a contract to move Merseyrail class 777s and have just complete the final class 484 test from Eastleigh.

The four class 20s etc all in the Crewe down refuge siding c 11am today.
