Either way - a sad story and great loss. I can't think of a movie he made that I didn't enjoy in one way or another. From the cheesy action of Top Gun and Days of Thunder, the intersting action of Deja vu and Enemy of the state to the deep drama (pun intended) of Crimson Tide which in my opinion was his finest movie.

And lest we forget on this forum that he made The Taking of Pelham 123 and Unstoppable - unusual for mainstream blockbusters to be centred around railways these days but Tony directed two of the biggest.

Sad to think I'll never see another new Tony Scott movie.

Unstoppable was good for what it was... I bet a few folk on this forum dissected it to pieces - I know I did! - but its just a full out thriller that doesnt stop... I see what I did there.

I refuse to watch the Pelham 123 remake as its one of my fav films and I dont want to have it tarnished in my mind

With Unstoppable I thought they could've stopped the train halfway through by having a driver stand on the front of the engine that blew up and jump onto the front of the runaway and save us an hour of our lives ;)
