two rare locomotives are moved from Sivas in Turkey where they were sent by Churchill to return to Britain

I've been watching this but had to switch off as the echo of the narrator's voice is driving me mad. It's almost as annoying as listening to a radio with a bad signal!

I saw it when it was first shown on National Geographic. Found it quiet interesting, especially the moment the Turk driver decided to cook one of the traction motors on his loco, & the laphazard way Turks manage their railway.

One thing which shocked me was the fact they routed the air for the brakes for the entire train through the steam loco braking systems, which had been out of service for several decades.
