Title: Round and Round the Roundabout

Well well well…Glasgow called! Todays ticket was a Roundabout ticket valid within the SPT area.

First up was a departure from Glasgow Central (High Level) heading to Paisley Gilmour Street. This was on 380001 of Scotrail operating serivce 2G77. Upon arrival at Paisley Gilmour Street I took a heavily loaded 380108 back to Glasgow Central (High Level) operating service 2K10.

After thinking quick what traction I would like, I did 314210 on the Glasgow Central (High Level) - Glasgow Central (High Level) circular service 2I27. This went via Glasgow Bridge Street Junction, Muirhouse North Junction, Muirhouse Central Junction, Maxwell Park, Shawlands, Pollokshaws East, Langside, Cathcart West Junction, Cathcart, Mount Florida, Crosshill, Queens Park (Strathclyde), Pollokshields East, Muirhouse North Junction, Glasgow Bridge Street Junction back to Glasgow Central

Upon arrival at Glasgow Central (High Level), CrossCountry 221125 was my chariot to Motherwell operating service 1V62. This went via the route of Glasgow Central, Glasgow Bridge Street Junction, Eglinton Street Junction, Rutherglen East Junction, Newton (Lanark) and Uddingston Junction to Motherwell.

Before my next train, I went to McDonalds to get a drink...and guess what it was? IrnBru! After that, I went back to the station to get 158741 was my next train between Motherwell and Greenfaulds operating as 2D61. This went via Motherwell, Mossend South Junction, Mossend North Junction, Mossend, Whifflet South Junction, Whifflet, Coatbridge Central, Gartsherrie South Junction and Garnqueen North Jn to Greenfaulds.

I then had to speed walk over the bridge to get 170395 on 2J71 (with a bottle of IrnBru in hand!). This operated 2J71 with me travelling between Greenfaulds and Glasgow Queen Street via Greenfaulds, Garnqueen North Jn, Gartcosh Jn, Gartcosh, Stepps (Tragedy! When the feelings gone, And you can't go on it's Tragedy), Springburn and Cowlairs South Junction to Glasgow Queen Street.

I then ran down (after obtaining another bottle of IrnBru) to the Low Level of Glasgow Queen Street to get 320321 on 2V33 to Partick. This went via Glasgow Queen Street, Charing Cross and Finnieston East Junction to Partick.

I then went and got the SPT Subway part of my ticket, this was so I could get the outer circle at Partick (Glasgow Subway) all the way to...Partick (Glasgow Subway).

After that I was RA to Morrisons to get some...IrnBru! After that it was back onto trains when I got 318259 and 318267 from Partick to Hyndland operating 2C45. Next up it was 320304 operating 2E53 from Hyndland to Anniesland via Hyndland and Hyndland East Juntion to Anniesland.

A quick jog over the bridge at Anniesland to get 334002 to Hyndland operating 2M20 via Anniesland and Hyndland East Junction to Hyndland. After that, 334037 operated 2L08 to Partick. After a rally quick change at Partick, 320311 took me back to Anniesland as 2E55 via Partick, Hyndland and Hyndland East Junction to Anniesland.

After yet another IrnBru run (and some dinner!), 170395 took me from Anniesland to Glasgow Queen Street operating 2W58 via Anniesland, Kelvindale, Maryhill Park Jn, Maryhill , Summerston, Gilshochill, Possilpark & Parkhouse, Ashfield, Cowlairs North Jn, Cowlairs West Jn and Cowlairs South Junction to Glasgow Queen Street.

After a few pictures being took at Buchanan Street Bus Station, I went back to Glasgow Queen Street to get 156429 to Stepps (Tragedy! When the feelings gone, And you can't go on it's Tragedy) operating 2J86. This went via Glasgow Queen Street, Cowlairs South Junction and Springburn to Stepps (Tragedy! When the feelings gone, And you can't go on it's Tragedy).

Upon arrival at Stepps (Tragedy! When the feelings gone, And you can't go on it's Tragedy) 170408 took me back to Glasgow Queen Street SR 5.60 170408 2J69 via Stepps (Tragedy! When the feelings gone, And you can't go on it's Tragedy), Springburn and Cowlairs South Junction to Glasgow Queen Street.

Next up was a SPT subway trip from Buchanan Street to St Enoch via the Outer Circle and then St Enoch to Partick via the inner circle.
