Located in Edogawa, 1 minute walk from Kasai Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line.

Adult tickets 220 yen (about £1), child tickets 100 yen.

There's enough here for an hour, or 90 minutes if you take it slowly. There are plenty of English captions and a couple of historic metro carriages. It's especially good on the history (the first line opened in the 1920s) and construction techniques. Recommended for families, some young boys were having a great time playing with the interactive model railways. I got all 5 questions right in the test for line controllers, including what to do in the event of an earthquake.
