I've just bought todays railways issue 91 extortionate price of £3.95 and this grabed my attention.
Grumpy old man last section about probs for someone travelling Donny to York. Apparently NXEC decided to stick a extra TS coach between the power car and the TGS (the one with the guard office in). Now some things wern't working in the TS beside the power car and the TGS, air con, doors, sinks, vestibule doors (i assume thats the inside doors the sliding ones, please correct me if thats wrong). When whoever wrote that got off at York he decided to complain to the platform staff as he felt it was unsafe. Did he work for health and safety by any chance. Its possiable. He writes that it was too easy to get the guard to switch the power on in the TS. Erm don't you think he tried that to start with? Rather than have a load of people complaining. In the end the platform staff sent everyone out of the coach and the train was delayed by 12 mins. I'm sure if i was him i would have just said nothing and been greatfull that NXEC had proved an extra coach to stop the train being overcrowded.
