Tips for applying?

Most of the railways have a simple application process, upload a CV, write about yourself, do an assessment.
I've found one website that asks you to input everything manually. Going to take forever. This isn't for myself but helping someone. We discovered there are a lot more jobs out there than first anticipated.
How do you get through websites like these that ask you to input manually for every single job?
This is in between work, looking after the kids etc. There must be a skill to do this lol.

There's no shortcut sadly. Just commit an hour or so on an evening and smash it out. For the long response questions, make a word doc and save your answers to it. You can always then refer to this when filling out future applications so you're not starting from scratch every time. That's what I did and it saves a lot of time as many of the competancy questions are transferrable to other job applications.

I second YingYing's suggestion of having all your answers saved in word docs. I include personal statements in that too. Saved me hours of work when applying for multiple roles.

Indeed there are no shortcuts, it’s designed in a way to make you spend the time in applying. You have to understand, for driver roles especially, they receive hundreds if not thousands of applications and because of this the TOCs and FoCs need to filter out applications that don’t meet the standard from the outset.
