Hello,

I'm working on a college project about rail privatisation and I'm looking to make a comparison between journey times and frequency in 1993 and 2012. I know of course it isn't a hugely scientific measure, but it forms part of my analysis of trends among other more valid points.

I've looked on line and the only way I've found is to buy the big timetable for 1993 and look it up myself, but instead I hope anyone here can remember or has something to hand to find out the journey length and frequency for me.

I'm taking Euston to Birmingham NS and Paddington to Bristol TM as my examples, and I've got the 2012 time and frequency, so I'd like the 1993 time and frequency. 1991 or 92 is good as well.

Bit of a stab in the dark, but it's worth a go.

Thanks,
Rob

I seem to recall reading an article about this not too long ago.
