From what I can see, Wrexham General-Wrexham Central takes 5 minutes, but the return takes 2, similarly, Runcorn-Liverpool Lime St takes 20 minutes, and the return 15...
I know it is quite common on InterCity routes, but what is the greatest amount of time allowed in padding in Britain? Obviously, stopping takes longer than starting, but surely that only accounts for 2 or so minutes, not 5 or 6?!
