The first seven northbound Virgin and Transpennine services of the day on the WCML heading to Edinburgh all pass through Penrith without stopping. There is no direct Penrith to Edinburgh train until 1443.

The last eight northbound Virgin and Transpennine WCML services of the day to Edinburgh all stop at Penrith (including that 1443).

What other bizarre timetable oddities are out there?
