There appears to be a mistake with the timetable information for the live departure boards on National Rail Enquires.

The diverted service from Farnham leaves Guildford at 9am. It arrives into Woking at 9.13. However the Basingstoke portion arrives at 8.50 into Woking and gets into Surbiton at 9.09. That is before the Guildford portion arrives into Woking.

Interestingly National Rail Enquires have * against every station past Woking as that according to the key, that means the train has missed it's monitoring point.

Who does one contact in these cases or being a Sunday, is it unlikely anything can be done, although I'm sure some staff who could correct it would be working today?

I might try tweeting South West Trains.

Is it actually on a station departure board or online??

It's online I noticed it, although when I was passing through the station earlier, the station departure board had:
London Waterloo via Woking
Woking only
[or words similar to that]

So on one hand it was saying the train is to London via Woking and on the other than it is only going to Woking.

It may be that they expect people to board the next train to London which follows from Guildford. However it isn't clear and online it's wrong.

I'll catch the 10am train and find out as I'm heading up to London.

I twitted South West Trains but I think they don't have people manning the system this early on a Sunday, assuming they man it on a Sunday, as I got no reply.

The platform departure board lists every station it normally stops at beyond Woking. No on train announcement to the contrary. Guard just said to another passenger "I wish they would change it". Clearly some mistake.

If they really don't want to change it then that's not good state of affairs. Can't believe that could really be the case. Apparently it's quicker for passengers to go up to Wimbledon and down according to the guard. Of course if there is no easement my in place I'd say that's against the regulations but I don't know what easements are in place today.

The train itself is running rather slowly to Woking and we get the rare e opportunity to arrive on platform 6. Guard now making an announcement and apology. Now have to go all the way to platform 2.

Officially less than 2 minutes to make the connected train. Would have been better to tell people to change at Guildford as that has a 6+ min wait which is more than the official connection time. As it was they delayed the train at Woking for almost 2 mins to give people time to board.

Still its a Sunday so does this really matter? I think it should matter any time of the day or week, even outside of commuter rush hour.

Now on a rail replacement bus to battersea park for which there was no opportunity on board to use your oyster card and no one saying you must touch in at the station and come back, this being Clapham Junction station.

I wonder how many others are travelling without touching in. I hadn't looked up the trains from Clapham so wasn't expecting the bus. Not that I mind ad it means they are doing work to keep the railway running.
