Hello!

I intend to group together bus timetables and make them into guides.

Any suggestions?

thanks in advance.

No, just good luck! Some of the company offerings are pretty dire. Last time I looked at Arriva they had given up altogether.

To be honest the different formats of each operator (and the fact that an increasing number produce nothing at all) mean that it’s unlikely to be anything like a comprehensive document.

You could go on bustimes.org, where everything is in a more common format?

If you have the Adobe Acrobat paid version, you can then create pdfs from any screenshots etc, and merge the .pdfs into a single pdf document.

Some counties generate nice maps. e.g. for Oxfordshire, which you could put at the front of any guide (I suspect copyright is not a problem, but check)

Sounds like it could be a good idea, some areas really are very poor for this. Depending on the area I'd potentially be happy to do some maps to include, or provide advice with graphic design software if this is useful for you.

You might find stopboard.uk useful for this. It pulls in all the GTFS timetable data for Great Britain, so you can see every scheduled departure for any stop.

Guys I have a bit of a dilemma……
I am making a Elgin one currently and I had decided to include fares. I am stuck in what ti actually do as I have discovered they have maps showing what areas a ticket covers…. I have a number of thoughts. Should :

- List the ticket with its price and all areas covered.
- List the ticket, price, Elgin and boundary destinations.
- Just list the price and make a separate guide for the fares.

Thanks for all of your feedback! I will take everything into account and upload any future guides. Prior to making this form I had made some for stagecoach only routes. See here:

You download the PDFs, get fares from the stagecoach website and make anything else on canva ^^ Is there any area you would like me to do?
That's alright, I was curious as to how you make these, I am currently researching the Glasgow network and I attempted to make my own in some form but I fell out of interest as it became too complicated, but I am interested in trying again.

Apologies to everyone for becoming off topic on the thread.

If you want I am willing to help! Personally my problem with a big city like glasgow is how to split it up!…. Oh well. If you want to talk about this more, message me. Otherwise let’s get back on topic!
