Times for the Pretendolino on Saturday?

Does anyone know the complete timings for the UK Railtours tour to Berwick on Saturday using the pretendolino?

I have been told it goes via the York avoider, is this true?

Not only that, but it's refurbed and has WiFi! Anyone know if the buffet counter became a shop?

No Wi-Fi, and the buffet coach retains the original counter. However, there are plug sockets at every seat.

If this tour were to be worked by the Pretendolino, what would happen to the first class dining? No kitchen car in that set!

I think that you will find that it will be the usual DBS set off Eastleigh

The pretendolino is the nickname for Virgin's mark 3 rake which usually hauled by a class 90.

No, it's not. Booked to be a class 90 with class 67 on the rear - can also confirm that the coaches are one of the DBS sets from Eastleigh.

The Mk3 buffet in the WB64 rake has a kitchen, and there is a spare Mk3 buffet to complement the set should there ever be a need for a second buffet solely for cooking food for dining.

AFAIK Mk3 buffets only have micowave ovens for cooking, which is why there is always a Mk1 kitchen car provided when silver service dining is required - can't see Mr Farrow's clientele being terribly keen on boil in the bag and microwave fare!

Even the Rail-Blue set on Saturday had a Mk1 kitchen car in the consist, have to say the whole set in blue and grey looked really good
