Ordinarily, a through ticket from a mainland station (e.g. London Waterloo) to Ryde Pier Head is no problem and National Rail as well as ticket buying sites show these no problem for most dates in the next few weeks.
However, for Sat 23rd December, there is no ticket available. National Rail have an option via Southsea Hoverport (not one I want), but Red Spotted Hanky and others give no ticket.
It's no problem to wait until a day or two before, after all it's not an advance ticket.
It appears to be that Wightlink have for some reason not let National Rail know their christmas sailings (they do exist, their own website has them)
Is this normal? Can those wanting tickets for 23/12 expect that the times will be online sometime soon?
