Tickets issued on planes

Coming back from Palma de Mallorca to London Luton airport on Sunday, Easyjet were offering to sell train tickets for FCC to London from Luton Airport Parkway for £12 (I think) single

Does anyone know what these look like?

Being a Sunday the Super Off-Peak Day Return is cheaper than a single and comes in at £9.

I think the brochure said it was £10 at weekends (which includes £1 for the bus link to the airport)

That makes more sense. The bus add-on between the airport and Parkway station is iirc £1.50 single or £2.50 return.

The ticket is only available into London and only at weekends.

You need to search for LTN - 4452, not 1072, as Luton Airport Parkway is south of Bedford, meaning tickets are not issued to London Terminals but London Thameslink instead.

The May 2011 EasyJet magazine doesn't mention fares it just states discounted tickets are available to buy on board.

That's right but apparently a ticket can be excessed for £1 but they won't do this on the bus itself, and you can't use PlusBus.

The excess is to change the destination from Luton Airport Parkway to Luton Airport which adds the bus journey to the ticket. They won't do this on the bus, they will charge you the £1.50 single or £2.50 return.

The buses have posters on them that say they do not accept PlusBus tickets.

The excess being £1. The difference between Luton Airport Pw and Luton Airport for a single journey is £1.50 (at least on a ticket from London Thameslnk which I checked). With a Railcard, it is 95p. I can't find where the £1 figure is coming from.
