Seems to have disappeared?

Has it been pulled? I know they had the NFM available for download, could be something to do with it. I was wanting to check up on their progress with Virgins mobitix site, and trying to get a response from them.

If anyone has any info, about its mysterious disappearance... Ta!

I don't know how badly this could kick off, as I never saw any bias, sensitive information or whatever towards any TOC. The thing that I thought he could possible get pulled up on was offering NFM to download...

If it is true that they are FCC employees, it will almost certainly be a 'terms of employment' issue, and they will want to collect evidence before they take disciplinary action against them. Its not necessarily because it is confidential information, but that it is an internal document and, if memory serves, their contract forbids them from publishing, or helping to publish such documents (unless it is part of their job to do so), I think that was the case when I was down there anyway.

A lot of railway contrats also forbid "talking to the media" (or variations thereof) and you could argue that posting blogs about internal goings-on could be part of the same.

They did not host the ATOC CD-ROM; it was hosted by someone else and linked to from their site. If ATOC were so upset about it, why have we not heard anything? I doubt this has anything to do with them.

And, besides, ATOC claim the £10 cost of the CD-ROM is to cover admin, postage and packing, so they are not claiming to be profiting from it so I don't see why it would upset them.

The issue was that they criticsed FCC in public. the 'whois' look up for the URL allegedly gave a name which matches an FCC employee in a 'ticket collector' grade.

It's a Yorkie term for "First Group". It's a common colloquial term used by a few RailUK folk.
