You can get them at any of their stations with a ticket office. Each and every one of them will hapilly give you one if you buy some sort of ranger / rover ticket off them. Some of them will happily give you one for nothing if you ask, and with some of them it's like pulling teeth without any ticket purchase I believe

Do all of them exist??

Sorry to break it to it you northernrail, but there is no such thing as a Northern Rail ticket wallet.

For a Virgin Trains example, don't go to Manchester Piccadilly, try to head for Wigan/Preston ticket office, they'll give you one.

Most of them do. best thing to do is drop them an email and ask. Every TOC should have its own website so get the details from there. If they do have wallets, why not ask them for one if you send them an SAE?? TOC's are mad about customer service so i would imagine most of them would send you one through the post

The Virgin Wigan NW ticket office people are great. They would be more than pleased to give you a wallet. great bunch of people they are

This comes up very often. Some booking offices may require you to buy a ticket (usually a rover/ranger) before they give one to you, others don't. This would maybe have been better in FTR, more people who know may see it then.

I used to have one of them. I don't know what they're issuing now, but I reckon that should still be the "main" one unless there's some big event on or something. You should get them with Subway 10/20 journey tickets if you're looking for them.

I've now got a tartan one with Rabbie Burns from the Homecoming two years ago!

Scotrail are still giving out some of their older ones with the firstgroup logo (rather than the Scotrail Saltire logo), so if anyone's trying to collect them keep an eye out.

Just be glad of that. I used to have my railcard in a Scotrail wallet and it was very often accepted as a season ticket!

(Of course, I did advise them of their mistake if and when the opportunity arose, but needless to say I did get some free travel out of it!)

I haven't seen a Tyne and Wear Metro one recently, so not sure if they still do them. I expect you'd only get one with some sort of season ticket, unless you send off a letter asking nicely.
