Hi

For the last couple of years I have been collecting ticket wallets from Railway, Bus and other companies.

I was just wondering if anyone had any that they don't need/willing to sell at all?

I have started putting my collection online - http://www.railwayticketwallets.co.uk and will slowly get through them all.

Look forward to hearing off anyone :)

Can I ask where you obtained the Metrolink one from please? Was it a TfGM Travelshop? They don't seem to want to give me one :(

Great collection though. Likewise the Chiltern Railways ones... two nice designs.

Oh and by the way something strange happens on D.

A very nice collection. I attempted to collect like you did a few years ago by asking at station and writing to TOC's and managed to build a small collection myself and most were happy to send me a few examples of each. Mind you, my collection is not a patch on yours though!

Particularly like the BTP one, in Yr Iaith Gymraeg (the Welsh Language) :)

I've got a few knocking around somewhere that you're welcome to, if you want them. Would you prefer photos of them, or the physical item?

If I may digress slightly...

Would you know if anyone still issues top-opening ticket wallets ( NSE style ) rather than the current fad for side-opening types? I'm on my last NSE one, it's falling apart and I'd really prefer to use a top-opening one to replace it with...

PS Re: your website; I can't scroll down the letters - the sensitive area is too narrow and I can't get below about E or F before the cursor rolls off the area and the list vanishes; the last letter on the list before it drops off the bottom of the screen is M.

Does anyone know which stations I can get a London Midland ticket wallet from?

I have never been able to get one from my local station Kidderminster all they ever have are the National Rail ones.

Worcester I think I got one from. Have you registered for "London Midland - The Key"? They send out a Green LM/The Key Wallet with the card.

My question seems to have got overlooked!

Gawd - getting an answer on here is like Jeremy Paxman trying to get an answer out of Michael Howard....

With regards to a ticket wallet that opens top upwards, I don't know of anywhere that would.

With regards to the website, click the A-Z button at the top and it should take you to another page with boxes on which take you to the different letters.

OP. I have a Virgin, a Plain one and a Oyster ticket wallet at home if you need pictures.

Thank you. :) Oh dear.... I'm sort of in a fix then aren't I?! :(

I tried that; it didn't. I only got the drop down list...

I'm not sure I'd be comfortable asking someone to surrender a mint condition 20 year old ticket wallet for use, knowing that it'll wear out after about a year. I'll try to find a source from a non-railway sphere instead.

I've got a spare burgundy SPT wallet in a drawer that hasn't been used in ages due to the fact they seem to send new ones out whenever you renew your Zonecard online...
