Ticket Restricted??

I hold an Off Peak, Young Persons Discounted, Return from Castle Cary to London Terminals. I am currently at London Paddington and tried to board the 17:33 service. I believe that my ticket is valid for this service - any times mentioned for the restriction code on BRFares are before I'm wanting to travel. The guy on the ticket line said no. Who's right - and if I'm wrong can someone a) tell me what an idiot I am and b) show the relevant line I'm missing!!

Barrier guy is right. That ticket is barred between 1641 and 1830 inclusive. See the bit marked "RETURN TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS" in the restriction text.
