On Feb 28th I had a Advance Single Ticket from Newcatle to Leeds on the 18.52pm Transpennie express train.
We lefted on time from Newcastle but only got as far as Chester Le Street and the train had to travel back too newcastle due to someone being hit by a train between Durham and Darlington which had shut the line.
so at newcastle we was told that all trains where at a standstill and that coaches would be put on to take us to darlington which the coaches never turned up.
so at 21.00pm a train did leave newcastle to leeds and i got on it with no problems and got to leeds at about 22.30pm some 2 hours later then i should have arrived at leeds.
What i would like to know is am i able to get a refund on the tickets that i had for that trip between newcastle and leeds?? as i have heard that if you get to the station on your ticket over a hour late then you can claim a refund.
Also as its a transpennie express train that i was booked on what is there address to send tickets and letter too please?
