Hello.

My details was taken by an inspector for buying a short ticket and she said they will send a letter to me but I notice that the address was wrong. I have called the gtr team and they told me to send a mail to them with my new address which I did but I have not receive any letter from gtr for about a month now. Please I want to know how long does it take thameslink to send a letter after given out ticket ? Thank you

It can take several months for them to contact you regarding this so it wouldn't be massively unusual for you to still be waiting after a month.

Though, with the address confusion, it could be worth just giving them another ring to politely check whether they've written to you or not as yet as you're obviously concerned some wires might have gotten crossed and don't want to miss any correspondence.

Do you know how they got the wrong address? Did you provide a driving licence which had an old address (which should be rectified or else you could be fined for this by police / DVLA (?) ), did they mishear you, or did you deliberately give them a wrong address?

Was this in respect of another ticketing offence? If so, you might find negotiating a settlement offer more difficult when they do eventually write to you.
