Ticket Gate Error Code 133

Using a Travelcard today, I was stopping off at some SWT stations and on returning to the station I was getting the error code 133 which is "TOC Ticket Pass - back Timer not yet expired". It was about 5 - 10 minutes between leaving and returning, so does anyone know what the minimum time actually is?

It may depend on the station, but I have been told it is around 15 minutes. So possibly you were just slightly short of that.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I've done the same thing on the London Underground and the timer on their gates must be shorter, as in the past I've returned after just a few minutes and the gates have opened.

Blackfriars is notoriously long; I have on more than one occasion had a passback when switching from one platform to the other despite spending time buying some chocolates and crisps in the WHS on the lower level and taking time to have a leak as well.

However, I have exited one set of barriers at Waterloo, Victoria and Paddington and entered another set within 5 minutes and the barriers accepted it.

So it's probably not a standard setting being used but a different one at each location?

At GWR stations, our code 133 means 'ticket has been used before/passed back', not sure how this varies on the different TOC's, but I guess SWT use the same Cubic Gateline Systems that we do.

Waterloo (because of Waterloo East) and Victoria (Southern to Southeastern) are legit interchange stations so may not have time limits?
