Last week I tried to buy a ticket online from Manchester Piccadilly to Lancaster with a reservation on the busy 1715. I was returning later in the week so wanted an open off peak return, price £20.30 (Route via Preston). All the ticket sites including NR offered an £18.90 TPE only return or the anytime return at £22.90 but no off peak return. I got the same fares entering Oxford Road as the departure station. It was only by selecting Manchester Stations I got the £20.30 with a reservation.

This is definitely an error as the off peak was available on all other services from Piccadilly, including TPE ones, with no time restrictions. I know you get a Manchester Stations ticket whatever station you choose but how does one go about reporting the anomaly?

I just had a look and I saw the Off Peak return when selecting Man Picc to Lancaster return. Strange that you couldn't see it.

:smile:Something that ladies get. Although the mistake was down to PMS, even if you do the right thing and point it out, then it will still be all your fault.
