I managed to obtain one of these devices last week. Looks like a ticket punch but actually prints 8 digit code. Problem is the ribbon and spools are missing. I'm sure modern railway companies still use them. Any ideas on sourcing?

Is this a Zifa stamper you are referring to? If so have you tried contacting Zifa as they could probably help with providing these?

Old ticket stamp - Any more info and where to possibly get ink?

A friend has recently been gifted the below ticket stamp and was wondering if there was any more information about (looks like it might be ex-BR?) but more importantly where they might be able to find ink pads so it can be used again! All info gratefully received:
