Hi all,
I will have to move home within the last 3 months of my Annual Season with SWT (Reading line) and I plan to live near work, so I won't be using the train anymore.
By reading this forum I found out that I could do a changeover to a cheap annual ticket in Isle of Wight instead of refund, but doing some calculations I found that it would be better doing it as soon as possible as I have some holidays coming!
So my questions:
1. Regarding my SWT freebies, are they still going to be valid after my changeover until the end of the new ticket (Ryde Esplanade - Ryde St Johns Road)? AFAIK SWT don't issue freebies for that route, but in the freebie rules it states that I can carry those over when I renew my ticket.
2. Will I have to unload/reload my gold card discount from oyster? Since there won't be gaps I'm assuming that won't be necessary!

Thank you all!

Your Gold Card will still be a Gold Card so there will be no issue with the discount being loaded on Oyster. I cannot answer the question about SWT freebies though.

You'll get a little bit more back if you changeover to a Lichfield Trent Valley - Lichfield City season ticket. This still qualifies for a Gold Card.

Last years full annual season prices (which I believe the changeover will be based on) are:
Ryde £164
Lichfield £108
