:-x warning
ticket booking agencies riding oon the back of comission are becoming notoriuous for their schemes to con travellers into believing they are offical sites onlyor buyers to fiund -usually in tine print at he end-that they have been purhasing tickets from a third party at inflated (service charge etc) prices.
The latest and most blatant deception I have found occurred when I Googled Harwich Hook ferry and got Stena Line.org which, when opened proved to be-Direct Ferries.
But the opened site still attempted to disguise the fact that it was NOT Stena Line's offical site.
These tricksters are forever at it -but beware-if you fall for it it will cost your over the odds. It pays to examine whatever booking site opened with great care!

Please use a descriptive topic title, ie not your username. I've changed 3 topic titles to help people know what the topic is about before they choose whether or not to view it.

Also, are you using a computer or a mobile device? If you are using a computer, can you use Firefox and go to Add-ons and add the British English Dictionary please? :)

it was headed ticket booking warning under fares and ticketing and was a starter thread.....
Thanks for the suggestion but some of us especially older folk like me (73) were not born with computers in our heats- I've had to learn about forums the hard way and that in the past two months.......
domnt have the faintest idea about Firefox -far too complicated and my lapton is here at my home- but i can take it up the street is that a mobile device?
My interest is in railways and transport and in railway people and things: computers are just a necessary means to an end
