Thunderbirds near Twickenham

I saw two ex-Virgin Thunderbirds (Class 57s) near Twickenham. Does anyone know why they were there?

I was on a bus, and they were seen from quite a way, so I don't know their numbers.

AIUI of the fleet of six, three went to Brush Traction first for mods to the couplings, while the other three went to Eastleigh first for painting.

If the aim was to swap them round between those sites (to do the other half of the work), then Twickenham would be on one of the possible routes...

They were working 0Z57 Tonbridge West Yard - Eastleigh, mate of mine photographed the pair (301 and 305) at St Margarets.
