I wonder how that tour went, hope it was good.

But thetransporthub filmed it going straight through London BridgeIt ran ok apart from the first part in the morning when it couldn't go to Charing X & had to terminate at London Bridge plat 6 due to a bridge restriction in the Borough Market area.
Did the people who were due to join at Charing Cross manage to catch up with the train at London Bridge ok?It ran ok apart from the first part in the morning when it couldn't go to Charing X & had to terminate at London Bridge plat 6 due to a bridge restriction in the Borough Market area.
It was very enjoyable. I don't think I need to do Angerstein's Wharf again though. Settle & Carlisle it aint![]()
Very true, mind you the journey to Grain from Hoo was quite good when I did it some years ago. (HDL back on the SCR would be good though, but a very very long day. They did do that route some years ago.)
Yes, I was very taken with the scenery of the isle of Grain. Very moody and Dickensian.
One of my fantacies is that HDL rerun "The Long Thin Drag" along the S&C. That would be a smashing day out !
