Next week sees 1317's main running events of the year:
Sat 2nd / Sun 3rd July Spa Valley Railway gala weekend to
commemorate the 20th Anniversary of line closure
Weds 6th July: special charter event to commemorate the last day of
BR passenger services over the line - 1317 of course having operated
on 06/07/85.
THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.
In the last couple of weeks, the Oxted Unit 1317 Support Group have replaced around 30 windows, reassembled the motor coach interior, mopped floors, welded/filled/sanded/painted, roof scraped, removed window
bars and installed replacement air horns - enjoy!
If you can't make the anniversary events, 1317 will be running at
the SVR diesel gala on 6/7 August.
