Hi all I am new to this forum, can anyone kindly help with my question: Has anyone who applied for the recent Three Bridges position which closed in Aug 15 heard anything, I managed to apply just before it closed and have not heard anything yet other than the automated email saying that my application was submitted successfully???. So far my application hasn’t been either rejected or progressed I can only hazard a guess that it may be due to either the volume of applications they have had and they haven’t got to mine yet or it is because mine is slightly different as I have passed all the assessments with another TOC and I am now applying for a different company i.e. GTR, I am not sure how this situation of passing with another company works with GTR, I would be interested to hear how others who have applied earlier in the year and have been successful got on in a similar situation, I would also be interested to hear how others who have applied for Three Bridges in Aug are getting on and what stage you may be at, thanks in advance.

I did the assessment with DBS prior to them pulling the plug on recruitment. I only had to sit the Dfft for GTR which wasn't covered in DBS assessment. Also I believe that GTR require an 'enhanced' score which I presume means that GTR require a higher pass score than the national requirement allows. As I don't know what my scores were with DBS, I can only assume that they are above the basic requirement and meet the enhanced score that GTR require.
I'm currently sitting in GTR talent pool awaiting a medical. There are other in the queue ahead of me who were given medicals shortly after passing their DMI and others who weren't.
Can't comment on Three Bridges applications specifically cos I'm waiting on Bedford. Sure others on here more knowledgeable than myself will be along shortly.

RedZed, thanks for your reply, when you initially applied to GTR how long did it take to get a reply and get called forward, I am currently unsure of whether my application has been screened or has meet the initial shift, I haven't heard anything back from HR so I am hoping that as I haven't received a rejection letter yet they are looking at others first and I may be called forward slightly later, was this your experience, like your bike, I own a Ducati Diavel<D

Responses to applications from GTR seem to vary. I applied in April. IIRC the advert was up from 20th - 23rd. Those that submitted their application on the 20th seemed to get an immediate response offering them an assessment. Those that submitted later ( I submitted mine on the 22nd) and initially got a generic response thanking me for my interest and due to a large submission of applicants would be sifted at leisure etc. bearing in mind I didn't need to do the whole assessment as I had already passed it apart from the DFFT. I then got a letter mid June inviting me to assessment on 6th July. I was there all day hanging around watching the hopefuls getting whittled down to the few because the DFFT was the last one of the day. I really felt for some of those guys. Having passed that I then received an invite to DMI three weeks later on 27 July. I passed that but wasn't told till the Friday which was odd because people who attended on Friday got told on the day. Dunno why save them all up for the end of the week?... If they knew I had passed on Monday why not tell me there and then? Anyway, I got told I'm now in a talent pool (awaiting medical). There seems to be a certain 'vagueness' about informing people of dates. Responses to specific questions include being told "there were courses being arranged for October through into next year" and then "Highly unlikely that will be offered a course until after November". Personally I'm not expecting to hear anything until well into the new year / Spring time.
OT: As for the bike - I like it too ;) I'm on my third one. Wouldn't mind trading up to ZZR1400 (which I might just do to celebrate if / when GTR give me that call). Dukes are nice but V twins aren't really my thing. Probably that CX500 I owned in 1985 had a lot to do with it

Hi,
I applied for the same position in August, I have just completed my medical today F1 pending drug results on urine which I know are clear! I have found the process rather quick so far. From initial application I done day 1 approx 2 weeks after applying, day 2 and mmi were 2 weeks later, had interview with DM on the 6th of this month. Then all completed today!

Nice one ! Meanwhile, the rest of us continue to languish in 'the talent pool'.

Thanks RedZed, I'm sure you'll hear soon. I forgot to say I'm on the Three Bridges side like 1234.

Exactly same timeline as me mate, had day 1 assessment on 6th July but only needed to do Group Bourdon, so done that first at 9am then had to wait around until 1pm for results and then could go home, had my DMI on same day as you too on 27th July and found out on the Friday too.

Ah, I think I recall speaking to you at the assessment centre in the reception area when you came back at lunchtime.

I know Lindsey is away until 2nd November, so I don't really expect to hear anything until after that tbh

Hi all, I managed to get to speak to a very helpful gentleman in HR thismorning, to find out whats going on with the above positions. For those, like myself that haven't heard anything back yet since application he told me the following: they had over 5000 applicants so the sifting is being done in batches weekly on application date, we/I will definitely hear back either way but was told it could be next week or in 6 months time as this is an ongoing recruitment program. I hope that helps everyone:)

Well did anyone else get the generic email?
Good news you have passed your medical. We will contact you when there are course dates available.
Surely resourcing knows when courses are????

Hi everyone, I have applied for the Three Bridges trainee positions back in August and have passed both my first stage, second stage and MMI back in October. I seem tobe getting no where when trying to get a date from HR for a DM interview, being told it'll be next week and when I call the lady hasn't even seemed to have made enquires regarding this.

I was just wondering if there was anyone who had applied and passed assesments at a similar time or that was in a similar position?

Many Thanks
