Hi All,

I’m moving to Three Bridges soon and work in the city, main station being London Bridge. Curious as to how busy the 07:40 from Three Bridges is and whether seats are available. Likewise, the 17:35/17:45 and 18:05 on the way back from London Bridge?

Thanks in advance!

@Jones1A. Welcome to the forum. The 0740 Thameslink service Northbound from Three Bridges normally originates from Brighton and then continues through Central London to Cambridge after having called at London Bridge at 0815. It'll have picked up pax at Preston Park, Hassocks, Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath after leaving Brighton, before getting to Three Bridges. Whether you'll get a seat therefore might well depend on which day(s) of the week you'll be travelling into London and whether the 0740 runs in an 8 or 12 car formation. Anyone have any further observations?

You’ll get a seat on the 0740 on Mondays and Fridays, but from my experience it would be unlikely on other days.

No chance of a seat until at least East Croydon on the 1735. The better options are the 1733 Littlehampton or 1803 Bognor services, which both start at London Bridge, so you’re guaranteed a seat as long as you don’t board last minute. Can’t comment on the 1745 or 1805.
