There is currently a consultation on improvements to Three Bridges station.

The main components are a new entrance on the east side of the station with the narrow footpath under the bridge widened as a shared use pedestrian/cycle path. This means a loss of a traffic lane under the bridge. There will no longer be any vehicular access from the main station entrance to the east.
