Three Bridges auto barriers removed!

Three Bridges automatic ticket barriers have been removed and replaced by Meteor security guards!

What's the story here?

I would assume it's temporary. Isn't Three Bridges going through a fairly major redesign?

Yes, but barriers have only been there for a few months so they would have known that the station would be renovated soon after.

Just asked one of the barrier staff this evening and they said they were moving the barriers further out of the station. If that is the case, it does seem odd to build them in the original place to start with.

Design fault maybe? Not sure on the station layout, but could H&S played a part in it?
