Threads are often closed after a period of inactivity. Simply report the last post in that thread and tell the team you would like it re-opening.

Or do what Midnight Flyer suggested.

Or they might see this thread first.

You could do if you wanted to, but if the thread was only locked because there were no updates for a long time and you wish to continue directly with the discussion it might be appropriate to continue the discussion in the old thread. You can either PM a friendly moderator or report post #1 explaining why you think it should be reopened.

As others have said, threads are simply locked automatically after a period of inactivity. We're happy to look into unlocking old threads though if there's a good case. The easiest way to alert us would be to Contact Us or to report the thread to us.
